    Easy to set up, cheap, and might be good for the infrequent user, but it drops the connection with my computer regularly. To get it going again requires shutting off the printer, pausing the print queue and re-starting. Aggravating.

    For the price of this printer it has exceeded all my expectations. It may be a little noisy but that is to my advantage. My computer is upstairs and the printer is down so I can hear it working and when my print job is done.

    This is the flimsiest printer I have ever seen. It felt like it was going to fall apart in my hands while I set it up. It will not survive a drop so be careful! It set up pretty easily and worked quite well the first couple of days, aside from being god-awful noisy while printing. Then it started being unable to sense the paper that is loaded in it. It takes an average of 15 min taking the paper out and putting it back in before it will finally take a sheet and begin printing, only to have to go through it all again when it's time to print the next page. Today it refuses to print anything but the test page. After fewer than 10 uses this printer is completely worthless.

    We needed a printer to use from our laptops in the livingroom and this printer does the job - don't have to go to the office to print out documents, emails, articles, etc. Love the wireless feature so when company comes with their own laptops they can print too!

    Great printer. Does what it is supposed to do with out any hassels.
    For a "low end" printer, its an exceptional value. But if your looking for options, its not the one for you. It only copies or scans a single doc. at a time and then you have to put the next doc. in and so on, but for the home computer, its kid friendly and wireless too. no extra wires is a plus.! I would suggest this to my friends and all ready have.

    I needed a printer for my home office. This one works well, it is compact and it scans. It is just a little slow. Scanning 45 pages of documents took almost 2 hours and required swapping out each page, rather than loading and going. Good value for the price.

    As a non-tech person, I was surprised that I was able to set this printer up myself to work wirelessly with my new laptop. The print speed is fast and output looks fine. Seems to be an excellent printer with only two negatives: First, when I click to Print, it waits 30 seconds before it starts to print. I emailed their tech dept. and was told that a 30-second wait is normal on all wireless printing. Second, you must use a color cartridge even if you are printing something in black and white--I know they make most of their money on cartridges, but this is still not a user-friendly idea.

    I personally use the product for school, I thought it was going to be a great printer but alas i was wrong. The wireless does not work at all for me, it took me forever to set up because for some reason drivers were missing. The scanner works great though and the picture quality isnt the best but its ok for the price of this printer.

    I haven't had it or used it enought to give it excellents across the board. I have not used the scanning ability yet (I'm still using my ancient Epson) but my daughter used to print her stuff for her Poetry notebook at school. It printed quickly with awesome color and the pages dried pretty fast. All in all, a great product for the price, so far!

    This printer is loud but it does what it needs to do. I love the wireless capability and all computers are able to print to the one printer.
    The scanner could be better. It does put a border around your image and you can only scan as a image file and not a word or pdf. You probably need another software to make that happen.
    It does the average daily things, if your looking for more keep searching.

    This printer is a great choice for those on a budget. I purchased this printer for the purpose of faxing online. I scan documents then fax them via online fax service, pretty quickly.
    The printer is a little noisy, but prints great pictures. The colors are bright and vivid.

    I bought this printer about 2 months ago. It was ok and i thought it was average as printers go! Today it said paper jam & there was no paper Jammed. After talking with customer service and getting error messages they agreed to send me a gift card (at cost paid) to puchase what i want to replace it with. This leaves me with no printer, as you can only exchange online.
    Customer service was polite and helpful, but that wont change the fact i am without a printer. I will not get another 3050 and would not recommend it to friends.

    My vision is poor and the touch screen prompts are so small I can't see them. I am not pleased with the color quality either.
    The back panel keeps coming off and the printer won't load. I have to turn it around and close the panel and that is more difficult to close than it should be. It's frustrating.
    On the plus side, it is easy to install and the wireless feature is great. It is fast and I would recommend it for that reason.

However, the printer seems to take a while to print from the other computers, where mine (the first laptop set up) prints immediately.     Took a while to get it to connect to my lap top wirelessly but once i got it to connect, it has worked fine ever since. Prints a little slow but i assume that is because of the wireless technology. A great printer for home use.

    I purchased this printer yesterday and installed it this morning. It was by far the easiest installation of any of my previous printers. The instructions were easy to follow and it worked fine from the getgo. Too soon to evaluate all of the features but I expect they'll work well.

    I wanted a multifunction copier/printer and I opted to go cheap. I thought the wireless option would be helpful as we sometimes have two computers going in the house. The wireless setup was cumbersome and never did work right, so I disabled that and went with the USB connection. The printing is pretty nice and it does make copies, so I'm satisfied, just not overly impressed.
