Pros: We've been using this as an add in for network testing and network installs. Works well with Windows XP, 7, 2008 as well as multiple flavors of Linux.
We ran a constant 30Mbs through it for over a week with no problems where a laptop internal nic failed after a couple of hours of this.
It has multiple indicator lights on it as well.
Cons: Cheap feeling (not a suprise).

I personally would not use this with a laptop or or netbook as the main nic. I don't think it would hold up long term.

needed a temporary replacement when i reformatted my hard drive. good speed even in USB 1.1. the instructions in the box were somewhat vague, it didn t tell how to get drivers for other operating systems (WHS), but on the disk it has a text file that tells what all the other driver folders are.

Works great and doesn't get hot like the Cables Unlimited one I bought earlier.
