I'm the IT Manager for my small company -- bought several of these for both workbench use and for patching equipment if needed. Some have gone into full-time production and they work great. none For the price you can't beat it. Switches are quite basic technology these days so it's safe to "run with the little guys" -- don't pay too much for a simple bit of technology.

Pros: Excellent switch for the price and if you have 8 or less computers, this is perfect for your network. I didn't think it was possible to get something this cheap in price. Took a total of 1 min to get install with a router. I would recommend this to anyone! Oh, and you also get a 5 year manufactors warranty with this!

Pros: Well built, Auto-MDIX ports (see below), 5 year manufacturer's warranty, fast and simple to install, blue color closely matches other network components if you already own products from that company which begins with the letter "L".
Cons: Blue color might clash with other network components. Purely an aesthetical point.

Blue color might clash with other network components. Purely an aesthetical point. You can't go wrong here. The unit is actually better than the listed specifications. Case in point. . . there's no mention in the listed specs that the ports are Auto-MDIX which means you can use either a straight through or crossover cables to make connections. The warranty, according to the manufacturer, is 5 years, not the 1 year listed in the specs. Coupled with the price, this simply cannot be beat. My highest recommendation! Five eggs ()()()()()

Pros: Easy to install, No guess work. Operates right out of the box. Quality of product compared to cost is outstanding.
    Cons: no negatives.
Would like to have some method of securing it to a table top, such as a suction cup or other attachment. It is so light in weight that the attached cables move it around quite easily.
