Great product that I've always been using

I use this to burn my Wedding, etc., taping on and also to print a label with my ink jet printer. I've had no problems so far.

I've never had a recording or playback problem with these DVD+Rs and the white inkjet coating works great with my Casio CW-100 thermal disk printer. Not all inkjet coatings work with the thermal printer but the coating on these DVD+Rs works perfectly.

these, like the 8.5 gb dual layer, work perfect. they might be higher in price (probably not on B&H) but they are worth not being disappointed. printable dvds and cheap do not go together. period.

Burning Results have been good; no problems in printing labels onto face of DVD.

Works great with my Epson ink jet printer. Looks as good as commercially produced disks. No falures in over 100 disks.

Most commercial discs are 38mm, so it's also nice to have Verbatim 95078 (MCC 003) on hand to print to both styles.

DVD+R results in excellent burns consistently with my BenQ DW1640 drive + BSLB firmware. Just be sure to set booktype to DVD-ROM and you get compatibility across multiple drives. (in linux this may be done via dvd+rw-booktype or if using nero in windows in the device options settings.) Pros: The Discs hold the ink well and after drying they don't smear at all! To print my discs i use the Epson R380 Printer. Overall they are a great product and i will continue to use them time after time! -No failed burns yet! -More expensive than some brands. I have ended up with anywhere from 30-60% coasters with some media, so I guess the price premium for top quality disks (these are some of the best out there for consumer DVD+R) really isn't so bad? it actually can save money!

Most of the time it's the equipment used to read the disc after the burn that is the problem. Old DVD players are most often the problem. Other issues can be traced back to user error or bad DVD burners.

Previous review is correct, mine did not actually -come- sticky, but both spindles got sticky after a while.. and if they are coming like that now, you definitely wouldn't want to feed them to a duplicator like that. overall i'm quite happy with them, no failed burns of course, etc etc... just watch out for the sticky thing.

can verbatim cover the inner ring with white material so that the disc is 100% printable?

Pros: Good print quality, perfect burns, large print areaCons: NoneGood print quality, perfect burns, large print area None I print w/ an Epson R220 that doesn't use the Hi-def ink (or whatever Epson calls it) that the R300 series takes. My ink dries on these as quickly as it does w/ Memorex & Samsung printables. No smears or quality issues. If the Epson R300 series aren't doing a good job, it's Epson's new ink formulation & not this media. Maybe try off-brand ink & see what happens? I go back & forth between Epson brand & meritline generic ink & can't tell the difference with the R220.

Pros: This is my second spindle of these that I have purchased. My first spindle was perfect with no flaws. On this one I did experince a few errors in playback, but there have been no dead discs. I have faith in Verbatim and will continue to stick with them. The discs play smooth. The printable disc could double as the original.
