* Easy set-up.
* Nice heavy box with rubber feet, sits on desktop nicely, even with cables hanging off it.
* The ability to run up to 4 computers at the same time is totally sweet!
* I'm currently running a Windows XP PC and a Windows 7 PC. I can be working on a website on one PC and digitizing video on the other PC, at the same time.
* I can play Call of Duty 4, Battlefield 3 and Crysis through the KVM and it looks exactly like it is directly connected to the PC.Cons: * Never did get the audio working, (i.e. controlling the audio output from multiple PCs to one set of speakers). I ended up getting a set of speakers for each computer. In spite of this, the ability to work on two computers at the same time is still a gift.
* When first inserting a new USB device, (i.e. mouse, keyboard), there can be a delay of a few seconds to several minutes before the device is up and running. Give it a minute, it will find it.
* It is rather pricey, but it beats getting on your hands and knees to switch the video cable to another monitor (and possibly messing up the video card).
There seems to be no loss of video quality,
The wirless mouse and keyboard dont need to re-sinked when switching between computers (this was a big concern for me)Cons: reaction to pressing the button depends on howlong you hold it down,, ie, a full or partial switch,, the cure is to hold down the button for a full second,, (an easy habit to learn)
Also the Scrlk Scrlk ... commands arn't the easiest to useThe cables shipped with the switch do a good jop of de-tangling the work area,
