    Pros: I have been using this mouse for quite some time. I have not complaints. It is responsive. The battery life is excellent. I never turn this thing off and i cannot even remember the last time i replaced the batteries. The batteries last so long that i do not know why people would ever want to mess with rechargable mice. Play a number of games with this mouse and it seems quite accurate. I program the 2 buttons under my thumb with tab and alt which works well for me.
    Cons: I wish they would add a couple more buttons under the thumb. That would be perfect.

    I use this mouse for general computer use, as well as for gaming, for computer use this mouse is great, also for gaming I find that this particular mouse is quite response and smooth when it comes to tracking. I like the forward and back buttons on the side for your thumb as well as the size of the mouse this is not a small mouse which is a good thing because I have large hands and it fits comfortably in my hand.

    Had it a little over a month and still on first batteries. I would have had to change batteries at least twice in that time with my old mouse. Only wish it was Bluetooth enabled so I wouldn't need the dongle, but at least the dongle is so small you hardly notice it. Love being able to program the buttons. I left the forward and back buttons alone, but reprogrammed the click feature of the scroll wheel to be a "double click" and it works great.

    Bought this as a replacement after my cat chewed through the cord of my wired mouse. Ergonomically, it fits my hand as well as I could expect. The side buttons can be programmed easily for back and forward Web browsing. If you own a pet, sometimes hair will get within the eye underneath, causing sluggish tracking. Just blow a few times to dislodge the hair. It doesn't happen often.

    I was looking for a 4-button full size mouse to replace a Microsoft mouse where the scrolling wheel was getting hard to turn, no matter how much WD-40 I put in it. This one looked like it would do the trick. I didn't need to download any software, Windows 7 recognized and installed the drivers and it started working right away. Scroll wheel is good but gives you that "click click click" feedback. I was looking for a smoother scroll with no feedback but they were out of the Microsoft ones that have that feature. Also the side "back" button gets in the way of your thumb when your finger is at rest on the side. You might accidentally press it.

    This Mouse has frustrated me when trying to use on my black desk. I had a Logitec optical mouse that was great (and more comfortable) but when I got a black desk the optical didnt work.
    So obously just stander laser isnt going to cut it either.
    I guess ill have to fork out almost $100 for the darkfeild laser mouse.

    This mouse stinks!!! Whenever I bump my mouse with my lid closed it makes my computer restart and kills any word documents or widows I currently had open. When I try to retrieve any of these documents nothing happens. Also, the middle click button doesn't have a open a new window option. I hate this mouse.

    I bought this mouse the other day and I was honestly surprised at how great this mouse was. I'm a PC gamer and this is by far the smoothest wireless mouse (that I've used). I was playing Black Ops and it easily increased my kill/death ratio by at least 1.0. I also tested the accuracy on DOOM (best way to test mouse accuracy) and I thought it was as good as some of the expensive gaming mice I've used. I also like the 2 YEAR BATTERY LIFE. I would DEFINITELY recommend this mouse to anyone who wants a quality wireless mouse. 5 stars.

    Cons: Even with Logiitech's Setpoint latest software, you can NOT program the buttons. I guess this is good if you don't know anything about computers or your software or have a mind of your own.

    Ther are a lot of good mice out there and this is one of them. Batteries are supposed to last a long time so that is the best feature. The small antenna is great barely sticks out of USB.     This is the nice BIG Mouse you need, if you have extra-large hands (like me). Provides great support. My only tick - the Slider Pads could stand to be a bit slicker...but it doesn't drag as bad as most I have tried. The super-mini 'Nano' Receiver stub is the best feature...plug it in, and forget it...GREAT for Laptop users, as it only projects out 5mm from the computer casing.

    I use this product with my laptop and it works fine, the off switch to save battery life is a good idea since I use a combination mouse and keyboard at home on the same machine and i don't have to pull it's batteries whenever I am using it out. I also really like the small dongle, I'm not worried it will get caught on something and broken. I have recommended this mouse to others.

    I use this on a medium brown oak table and it it performs as well as wired optical mouse on a mouse pad. Also, since I use this for a laptop I appreciate the nano USB adapter as I do not have to remove it when putting my laptop in its bag.

    I tried the 701 first, and did not like the ergonomics, so I switched down to this model. Now I miss the unlimited scroll wheel of the 701. This one also seems a bit off on the grip. But I agree with others that this is a solid mouse, with good functionality and the advantage of the unifying device means it and the num pad work together with only one tiny USB device. I might try going down to one of the smaller unifing mice next for better portability.

    I use my wireless mouse for personal use. At first it was hard to get use to because my old mouse had a tracking ball. I love this mouse! I don't think I would pay extra for the forward and back button on the side again.

    All around poor mouse the only redeeming factor about it is the two buttons on the side for web browsing thats about all this mouse is good for and the battery life seems decent although I have only had the product for about two weeks. There is better options out there for a mouse I'd avoid this one.

    Not sure about the Battery Life, since I only owned it for 1 month. May be a little too big for use with a laptop when traveling. The large additional forward and back buttons are a nice size and positioned great for the thumb.

    Perfect. Easy to use. I have an LX8 with back button,but wanted one with a nano receiver. The M510 is even better,better contour.not such a wide grip area. Back and fwd buttons. A bonus is the nano can be stored inside the mouse! so i ordered 3 for gifts. one for me.

    I use the product for long periods and have been wanting a full size mouse that fits my hand without it cramping but has the smaller USB connection that I can leave in my laptop. I am also impressed with the apparent long battery life that the mouse is supposed to have. Also, that it will work with either one or two AA batteries -- never seen that before.

    -Receiver is small, although the metal part of the plug sticks out a bit more than I would've expected.
    Cons: -Does NOT work on all surfaces. Doesn't seem to like light surfaces, like a piece of paper or light desk, which I might add, optical mice work fine with. Seems that dark surfaces work better, but even then you might want a mouse pad.
    -Compared to my MX518 (set to 800dpi),the DPI seems a bit higher (maybe 1000 or 1200), which means this I have to compensate or change settings when I switch mice.
    -A bit heavy for my tastes, but that's what you get for portable; two AA batteries are going to be heavy (I might try out some lithium AAs...)

    This is a great product! I do powerpoint presentations frequently. I was able to walk away from my computer with the mouse in my hand and change screens from more than 10 feet away.

    I bought it to use at home with my LT on my desk or around the house so full size was attractive for me. But form day one there was no coordiantion between the mouse and cursor movemnt/speed. I tried all kind of surfaces over 8 weeks. SW down load and adjsuting speed through it helped a little, but still no smooth movements. I will often use my good old MS mouse when frustrated with it but will try it again next day on another kind of surface! and then it stopped working at all when I was going to put it on eBay for 1 cent + shipping cost!

    2./ Grip is comfortable.
    3./ Full feature complement: laser tracking, back-and-forward thumb buttons, and (to a lesser extent) horizontal scrolling are all nice to have (and a personal requirement).
    4./ Purported battery life of 2 years (!) sounds great, but I haven't had a chance to put it to test.
    5./ Unifying receiver (another must). I leave it in my laptop as it barely sticks out.
    Cons: 1.\ No cover for the laser hole.
    2.\ Doesn't come with a case, leading to possible problems with #1.
    3.\ Tad bit weighty.
    4.\ The "back" and "forward" buttons feel a little cheap.
    5.\ The finish is going to attract some fingerprints.

    I bought the M510 as a replacement for my ailing MX1000 which had finally given up the ghost. This mouse is accurate for me relative to the old MX1000. I do miss the page up/down buttons in front of and behind the roller ball, as well as the programmable thumb button behind the up/down buttons. Overall, I'm happy, and for the price I feel I got a good mouse.
    FYI - my desk is wooden and relatively non-reflective. I can't speak to how it would work on a glass desktop or other reflective surfaces.
