    Pros: No pros.
    I've owned two. I tested both mice on multiple computers and got the same results.
    On smooth surfaces that normal optical mice and laser mice have no problems with, these mice cause the cursor to jump randomly. This is apparently due to the angle of the light emitting diode and is a known flaw of this model.
    These mice can be used on surfaces that standard optical mice cannot be used on, but due to the cursor control problems I cannot recommend this mouse over a standard optical mouse, and certainly not over a laser mouse.
    Cons: Terrible accuracy. On a standard mouse pad the cursor randomly jumps. This was tested on multiple mice, and on multiple computers.
    I wish this was not the case, but I found that these mice were less accurate than laser mice. Due to the cursor jumping issue, even a standard optical mouse would be preferable in most situations.

    I needed to get a wireless mouse so the corded mouse I was replacing wouldn't interfere with my phone. When I first got the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 I thought it was going to be too small and even saved the original packaging in case I had to return. It is so quick and smooth and actually fits quite well in my palm. I absolutely LOVE IT!

    The 3000 model was buggy and prevented Windows 7's power-management features from working. MS hardware not working with MS software. Go figure.
    That problem is fixed in this 3500 model. However, it has louder clicks and the middle wheel is a bit harder to press.

    I got tired of using the touch pad on my lap top, and decided to try the Microsoft Mobile Mouse when I saw it on sale. I am highly satisfied with the tracking and ergonomics. Also, I can't lose the tiny transceiver, because it can be stored in a bottom slot. Highly recommended.

    The mouse is comfortable to hold and move and works well. I like the fact it is wireless and has a wheel in the center of it.
    I would have preferred more colors on sale when I bought it since the dark color sometimes makes it hard to find in low light.
    I would recommend it when it is on sale!

    I would like a thinner profile. When packing for travel, there is a hump where the mouse is located. You need to be careful where you pack it because or you could damage it if in the wrong place.

    I use my laptop for mostly business but also for personal home use. This Microsoft 3500 Wireless mouse fits both needs perfectly. Small and easy to transport. No wires makes it fantastic in office or on the sofa. Use it on any surface for precise mouse control. I strongly recommend this product to anyone considering a wireless mouse.

    Was on sale for $4.99 - not the $14.99 on the website. While listed as a 'mobile' mouse, it works great for the desktop. Don't mount the transceiver in one of the rear USB ports or the usable distance is severely limited - like 3 feet. I put it in a USB hub on top of the PC and the range increased to clear across the room. (Specs say up to 33 feet.) The blue LED is a nice change from the traditional red color of my wired mouse. Was also able to keep the wired mouse connected - both work at same time. Haven't had it long enough to test battery life, but it says up to 8 months on one AA battery. Installation was a breeze, but internet is necessary to download the MS Intellipoint software. Scroll wheel clicks are more noticeable scrolling up than down. Scroll button (by default) pops up Task Switcher which is convenient, but can be easily modified by the software.Tracks precisely on almost anything, except glass, etc.

    It's a mouse and it works! Nothing else to it. It's a great price for a mouse that does its job. I like the fact that it's wireless and the usb for it is super small. I know those are made for laptops but I put it on my desktop anyways.
    Of course I got it mostly because of the design! It's super cute and colorful!

    Love the fact that it has an easy to use switch to turn off the power and save battery life. Plus it really does work on any surface!
    Nice small usb to plug into your laptop, so it can stay there or stores in the mouse when traveling.

    This mouse is excellent. The best part about it to me is the fact that one single battery lasts so long. I received my mouse about 2-3 months ago and the same battery has been used the entire time. The design is sleek and beautiful and the buttons don't click too loudly.

    I purchased this mouse a few weeks ago because I was looking for a wireless mouse that I can use/switch between my work laptop (pc) and my personal laptop (mac). So I when I saw this mouse on sale for a little over $12 I purchased 2 of them (1 for me and 1 for my daughter). This mouse is sooooooooo great.     Microsoft's entire line of wireless mobile mice is definitely worth checking out. From my point of view, the marquee feature of the 3500 is the teeny-tiny radio receiver that plugs into your computer's USB port. Most receivers are about the size of a thumb drive and pose a risk of accidental breakoff if used with a laptop. On the 3500, the receiver is a mere nubbin that barely protrudes at all and can safely be left in a laptop long-term. The body of the mouse also has an on-off switch to safe battery life.

    Both this mouse to replace a broken cordless mouse.
    The part number label lifted in one corner after a few days of use. It occassionally snags on cloth surfaces. If it becomes a real issue, I'll try regluing or just remove the tag. No enough of a nuisance at this point.
    I love the small USB connector and the power switch. Tracks well and is comfortable. I am happy with my purchase.

    No problems. Plugged it in and after a quick automatic driver download by the computer, you're off and running. Works well and the blue light technology really does allow use on more surface types.

I would have given this 5 stars all across the board, however, this mouse just DIED after one month of use. Perhaps I got a defective one?     The small usb adaptor is great.
    The ON/OFF swith at the bottom of the mouse is great because when I am done I turn it off and it saves battery life time. I have droped the mouse serveral times and is still working great.

    I use this mouse for my laptop when I travel to Board meetings and take notes. I am secretary in two organizations. I also use it for personal use downstairs (my office is upstairs). Love it! Love it! Love it! I bought my grandson one for his netbook and laptop. He loves it also. We lvoe the mini-B port adapter. The standard ones we had were broken from protruding too far. I also love the fact that it takes a little battery, because my standard wireless was always going dead in the middle of a project. Super Mouse!~!!!!

    We love our wireless mouse because the cord on the other was always getting caught on something, the mouse pad usually. It was annoying when you spend lots of time on the computer. Now, no cord to become entangled. And nary a squeak from the mouse.

    I like this mouse. This mouse doesn t have a fwd/back button, or a side scroll, however, it just seems to be made better than other comparable wireless mice I have. This mouse is my preferred wireless mouse (I have 3 other ones with fancy programmable buttons), however, I still prefer this one the best. It has the smoothest tracking ability, best feel in your hand, and can be used in either hand. Has an off button so you can save the battery, and only takes 1AA battery. It seems well balanced with a single AA battery. If it lasts half the advertised time of 8 months, it would far surpass my expectations of a wireless mouse.

    Love that it has a great reach...you dont have to be right up on the computer for the mouse to work. You can be accross the room and it will work as good as you were sitting at the computer desk with it.

    Really Great Mouse. The tiny USB Receiver fits nicely inside the mouse for great storage and doesn't act like a dangerous kickstand when plugged into my laptop. If it had a back and forward button it would be perfect. Fits nicely in your hand and is super accurate and responsive.

    I use it for my laptop which sits any where I take it in the house. I like the lightweight and comfortable design. The only surface I've had trouble with so far is on a book or paper surface that may be sitting next to me.

    I had been looking for a mouse that would track over glossy surfaces, and read about Microsoft's BlueTrack technology. Even though Microsoft is quick to say it won't track over glass and glossy surfaces, they are too modest. I've used the 3500 on ALL types of glossy surfaces, and it performed perfectly; without a hitch.
    The tranceiver is so small it's not a hassle or danger to leave it in a USB port permanently, and the mouse itself is not too big or too small (like many wireless mice).
    It did not come with a travel pouch to keep it from getting damaged in a backpack or laptop bag, but other than that, honestly, I can't find anything else to complain about. A wonderful product.
