Easy to use and plug in
No software to install
It switches KVM, mic, and audio between two computers Hard to mount with cables plugged in to all four sides I have used XP and Mac OSX. With XP I need to have it selected to the computer when it boots so it can talk with the monitor and then manually select the optimal resolution especially with wide screens.
- simple to install & operate
- works as advertisedCons: Occasionally the unit does not recognize the keyboard and mouse. In that case I've had to reboot the computer. This has not happened frequently. This is the only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5.- inexpensive

- works as advertised Occasionally the unit does not recognize the keyboard and mouse. In that case I've had to reboot the computer. This has not happened frequently. This is the only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5. This is the third Trendnet product I've owned. The other two are ethernet switches. They have been working for over a year without any problems. I expect this switch to work equally well.
I see no video degradation.Cons: Passes mouse, but not input pen pressure with Wacom Graphire II tablet. Will probably just use normal mouse through switch and keep Wacom to main computer.Price. No significant delay in switching between computers using buttons.
