Single Cable to the input port, Keyboard switching, and PS2/USB input Have no have a problem yet. It would be nice if it was a DVI instead of D-SUB, and also if it includes audio switching. But so far I have yet to find a KVM that is 8+ port, DVI and Audio with USB switching.

Pros: When it worked, the KVM setup was easy, switching worked nice and it had a quick monitor response.
Cons: After a month, the KVM would "lose" machines. Sometimes, they would show display only and the mouse and keyboard wouldn't work. Other times, they would come back fully functional. Other times, I would have keyboard and no mouse. As of today, when I press the space bar on my keyboard (and I've tried a few), sometimes the KVM will relay a space and other times it will function more like the ALT+TAB key sequence. Tried in Linux and Windows and both give me similar issues.

They said I should have the new unit in 8 to 10 business days. Not too shabby considering it's only a $100 KVM.

Pros: Easy to hook up and switched between ports fairly quick. The status light are well laid out and let you know what port is active and when a server is down. This was used in a surveillance application so there were no real intense graphic demands but the display was acceptable for this application.
Cons: After 5 months one of the ports died. This unit is maybe switched 30 times a month from server to server so there is little use. After 8 months another port died. I am going to replace it with another brand as I expected this to last about 5 years given the amount of use.

    Pros: It works!
Cons: Did not come with cables. Was ninety nine bones for 8 trendnet kvm cables.
It works! Did not come with cables. Was ninety nine bones for 8 trendnet kvm cables. All 8 servers plugged right in and it worked, no need to power them off as the manual suggested.

Pros: Easy to use. Video quality at 1024x768 seems quite good - I don't see the ghosting that other reviewers mentioned. No problems with a Microsoft USB keyboard and mouse.
Cons: The video seems to lag occasionally. Not really a big deal.

Pros: Easy to setup, easy to use. Had no problems with a standard USB keyboard and mouse (even the scroll wheel works). Only used the booklet to get the hotkey combo.
Cons: Not really a con, but it would be nice in the description to state that it does not come with cables, just so there's no question.

May or may not work with "fancy" keyboards and 5 button mice ... but that's not what it's designed for.
