Using the product strictly for presenting with a laptop and projector it worked flawlessly. Did not try using it as a mouse. Love the off and on switch, ease of use, and the way it stores an extra battery and the usb connector within the battery compartment. On the expensive side.

The AMP09US presentation remote is packed with great features such as cursor control, laser pointer, one button slide advance and review, screen black-out, window swap, and more. It connected immediately with my laptop and had good range. After using the remote for 2 weeks, I dropped the unit on a carpeted floor. The cursor button broke, and the cursor joystick no longer works.

Pros: As a presentation navigation tool, the remote works as you would expect, and well. Good range, good response time, and the embedded laser pointer is quite useful for highlighting items. The blackout button is a welcome change instead of having your presentation come to an inglorious end on the desktop or within Powerpoint.
Cons: As a remote mouse, it fails to deliver. The joystick controller is overly sensitive to pushing in some directions, and not sensitive enough in others. There is little to no feedback from the stick to indicate you are pressing properly. The joystick control could use some improvements.

The USB receiver tucks neatly into the battery compartment when not in use.
