operating tempThis has been the best USB wireless adapter I've used thus far. I've used D-Link, Hawking Tech., and Linksys in the past and this is the coolest running adapter of the models I've tried. It also gets a good-excellent signal in areas where my girlfriends built in notebook wireless, my Hawking USB, and my Linksys PC card get none-low signals. Btw the signal is coming from a verizon B/G router/modem on the first floor.Cons: None as of yet.signal strength

Bus 001 Device 007: ID 0cf3:9271 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11nand it uses the ath9k wireless driver.Cons: It sticks out about 2.5 inches and the antenna is perhaps in the way, depending where on your laptop the usb ports are. However, it comes with an extension USB cable so one can simply put is where it is less in the way.Works out of the box with my laptop that has Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat installed. No need to install any additional drivers at all.
InexpensiveCons: had to get drivers from the disk provided. Too bad win 7 didnt just recognize it.Works!
Inexpensive had to get drivers from the disk provided. Too bad win 7 didnt just recognize it. able to stream 1080P MKV's from file server and download new movies at 30mbs without problems.
I got TL-WN722N_100629.zip
I pointed Device Manager at:
\TL-WN722N\Driver Files\Windows 7 64bit and it said the driver is up to date.So I uninstalled the driver, reseated it, and pointed it to the same extracted ZIP file folder. It found the drivers for "TP-LINK 150Mbps Wireless Lite N Adapter" still with version 2.0.0.32Now it's been staying online for 2 days, where before it wouldn't last 8 hours.

USB as opposed to PCI
Extension cable includedCons: NoneAdequate range/speed for me
USB as opposed to PCI
Extension cable included None I just needed a cheap, reliable wireless adapter that would work flawlessly at the range I use it in (~25 feet to the router through one wall). I have no complaints. 100% signal strength, varying signal quality from 90% to 100%. I've noticed no lag or any strange occurrences in online games.
Easy install
good distanceCons: Because of the way the USB is installed in the computer, the antenna will point down or to either side, not up. Doesn't seem to matter thoughWorks great

Strong signal.
Comes with usb extension cord.
Cheap cheap cheap.Cons: The cover to the usb connection is detachable, so it could be lost...not that you would need to keep it anyways.Easy install.

Cheap cheap cheap. The cover to the usb connection is detachable, so it could be lost...not that you would need to keep it anyways. The computer i'm using this with is upstairs, while the our wireless router is in a room downstairs; yet the received signal is still strong. Couldn't ask for more.
-good range ( i am about 15 yards away from the wireless router) and it gives 4 bars sometimes 5
-simple plug, and install
-comes with extra usb extend cable!Cons: -disc is useless if you have a x64
-bulky usb
-when plug in direct USB points downwards-works

Install was immediate & didn't even use the full software just drivers. better signal & more networks seen in the neighborhood too.Cons: None. Seriously.Freakn sweet adapter works smashingly good!

Good range
Good signal strengthCons: Nothing bad to say about it so far.Has worked great since I installed it.

MTBF unknown.Excellent signal strength and range. I've replaced 5 "other name brand" wireless adaptors that would drop connections consistantly with these and have had no issues. The wireless client included leaves a little to be desired when running on an XP machine.
MTBF unknown. I'm using 7 of these in a business environment and they work great, the machines they're plugged into run 24/7, and the only issues I've had are windows related.
no Customer Service support I can attest to: tried phone, email, etc. Nothing.stronger signal (I suspect the 4 dB gain antenna helps a lot) than other similar dongles I have. does not move higher than 54 Mbs, although other devices around my network do go to 150.
no Customer Service support I can attest to: tried phone, email, etc. Nothing. Did I get a 54 Mbs unit? I am using it on a WinXP 32 bit.
Easy setup. Up and running in 5 minutes.Cons: Installation software is cumbersome and the instructions are pretty much worthless. They do not match what you actually see on the screen. Even so, it's pretty intuitive to install.Excellent range reception. 5 bars from where the router is two stories down.

plug-in ready cannot detect wireless N network I upgraded my router just so I can connect to my 5.0 ghz wireless N network but it cannot detect it. My roommate connects to it just fine. However, it can connect to the 2.4 band with a steady 4-5 bars.
wireless protocols that wouldn't work on the wireless network that was provided. Signal strength had 5 bars from the start. I have no complaints with the speed.
Easy setup.
LOW cost and free shipping. May be the best $20 I ever spent.Cons: None!!!I played online game (Mechwarrior Mercs) thru 4 walls and 60 yd. away from router with low ping.

- High gain external antenna (removable/replaceable)
- Supports 802.11n
- Sleek, solid form factorCons: Absolutely none.- Fantastic signal reception strength

- Sleek, solid form factor Absolutely none. This thing is an amazing value for the money. My router is a good 75-100ft away and about 4-5 walls in between. I have max signal strength compared to the no signal my pci card picks up.
windoz 7 worky. unknown with linux.
Followed the directions about installing the drivers, and still doesnt work.It comes up in device manager, but it doesn't allow me to see any networks. Luckily I only payed 20 bucks for this thing. Next time I'm going with the netgear.None Bought this thing about 2 weeks ago, and it doesn't work.

-Coverage connection is triple what I had with Linksys's "N" Junky adapter and router.
-My Router is in the Garage...separate from house...and I still have 4 bars in basement...WOWCons: NONE-Connection and setup a breeze.

Ease of installation
Nice looking (wish NE had it in black...) none I have an older laptop without wireless or USB 2.0. Pairing this with a Rosewill RC-600 4 Port USB2.0 PCMCIA Card works great, without external power supply for the USB 2.0 card. I velcroed the TP-Link to the top of the case and don't even think about it.
Works as advertised.
External antenna - can use different kinds of cans, foils and other signal boosters.
Removable antenna - can connect whatever you want.Cons: does not pay my bills.Price.
Works as advertised.
External antenna - can use different kinds of cans, foils and other signal boosters.
Removable antenna - can connect whatever you want. does not pay my bills. Thats exactly what I was looking for - it works with my asus eee netbook(win XP), its fast, and I get up to 200% signal boost compared to built-in wi-fi.
On at 54mbpsCons: none yetEasy installation and setup
On at 54mbps none yet Great networking solution for a desktop pc I want to move.
They are out of stock. This passed the Hulu stream test, and several other obsticles, I tried to stump it with. Works well on Ult 7x64 with an easy download from site. It only required one try to pick-up three signals, and as I live on an acreage, that tells me the range is outstanding. I couldn't find a place that it would show less than full strength. That I put off wireless connectivity so long.
They are out of stock. This was about as painless as you could ask for. ETA says later today. Better get one before they're gone again.
Hasn't lost signal once
Included USB extension is great for freeing up adjacent USB ports as well as optimally positioning the adapter
It's even nice looking, you can't ask for more from a wireless adapter.Cons: Installation on Windows 7 64-bit required getting updates from the company's website. This is obviously a potential hassle, I just ran an ethernet cord from my wireless router to my desktop.Other than that, NO cons.Nice speed boost (coming from 54Mbps)

no latency with most games.
Big improvement on signal strength.Cons: when I got it, there is a loose part inside, when I shake the unit, I can hear some rattle(sounds like a loose screw), but it works fine.
unit is not plug and play with Window 7, but the vista drivers that came with the disc worked fineworks great,
no latency with most games.

unit is not plug and play with Window 7, but the vista drivers that came with the disc worked fine No latency with most games, I play mostly steam games. But if i play old games that's not really made for vista/win7, the connection gets a little weird, but these games worked fine with my old network adapter (maybe it's the driver?)
