easy process from start to finish. i was going to disney with the famliy and needed some more memory on my camera (for both pictures and video) this 16gb was more than enough for us, held all the pictures and short movies of the kids on rides. (i upgraded from a 4gb) i had never heard of the transcend brand, but feel that B&H would only carry quality products.

I use this in my Canon 60d, and as flash drive for video. It is fast, reliable and reasonably priced. I have never had a problem with it. I would rather have two 16gb cards, than a 32gb card in case you accidentally format one. 16gb seems like the perfect size.

Pros: Upgraded from a Class 4 Lexar 16GB card to this one. Previously I could record for approximately 3:15 before the card buffer would fill up. Now I can record the full 12 minutes at full resolution (4GB clip, maximum for this camera) with no buffer issues.
Haven't done much photography with it, but it kept up easily with my day at the zoo.Cons: None so far.

On 12-08-2010 I gave this card a great review, however, since that time, I have had some issues with it when recording videos. It will stop recoding when it has a buffer problem. If you only want this card for Raw images, then all is well, but if you intend to use if for video, then think twice and consider the Sandisk extreme or Extreme pro cards. cost more? sure. give better service? you bet! the sandisk cards will allow you get and view what you shot. It all depends on what you want the card to do. All mentioned cards here are class 10, but the Sandisk cards have transfer speeds of 30mb/s and 45mb/s respecfully but the best that I can tell, the transcend cards are about 20mb/s and this really makes a difference when it comes to video.

I purchased this as part of a B&H Zoom H4n kit. It's a 4 channel hand-held audio recorder. It has the data speed to record 4 channels of 44.1/16 uncompressed audio (granted that is only ~350 KB/s, so a Class 2 card would be sufficient). I get about 15-18 MB/s reading and 11-13 MB/s writing through the Zoom recorder over USB 2.0. When transferring through my SD card reader I get the same speeds. Can't speak to durability because I've only had it 2 days. Hope it lasts!

I bought this card for my nikon d7000. Its a good price for a faster card, but it's a terrible class 10 card compared to higher quality cards. At 6 fps I was able to fire off 5 shots in raw and about 20 shots in fine jpeg before the card bogged down. I haven't tested it's video performance yet, but a friend said his canon t2i could only go for about 20 seconds before stopping. For comparison, my class 4 SanDisk ultra performs better.

Out classes my PNY (c4)card. Using with T2i. Shooting raw I was only getting 5 frames continuos and it took about 16-18s to clear the buffer. This card gives me 6 frames(spec) til buffer full and about 7-10s to clear buffer. No issues with HD vid @ 60 fps. It transfers files to my iMac 27 a lot faster than the PNY. I read this card may not write to c10 spec but it costs less than many c6 cards which canon calls for in the T2i. Price performance ? Iwill be getting another. If u use a card reader make sure it support SDHC Just found out my card reader that I use with MacBook Pro is not SDHC compatible

Class 10? Well, not quite... I love the capacity and the low cost, but I was not too impressed by the overall speed. My SanDisk Extreme III 8GB kills this card in speed and it's only a class 6. I was weary of trying another bargain SDHC card after having been burned by 6 other brands so-called class 10 cards, but this one came highly recommended. I can say that, so far, I have had no problems with the card, no buffer overrun errors, no dropped frames and it handles both the 720p and 1080p video on my 60D perfectly. Great value!

I bought the Transcend 8GB Class 10 card for my GoPro HD camera, which shoots both stills and video. The GoPro is used onboard in sports--especially skiing and motorsports photography. As a test, I have run the Go Pro in video mode using my Transcend 8GB Class 10 card on the dashboard of my car in my morning and afternoon commutes. Not once did the video playback skip, pause, or hesitate. That meant the card was able to receive video data reliably and continuously for 20-30 minutes at a time.

I would recommend this smaller capacity cards because I hear rumors the 32gb are subject to corruption. Either way, make sure to pull out your magnifying glass and register the serial number on the card with Transcend warranty. They'll replace it if anything goes wrong. Pros: Writes/Reads fast; Easy To Use; Great Value; Reliable PerformanceClass-10 - what more can one ask for ? It's fast and it was cheap. I reserved giving it a 5-star rating because it's still new and it's my first time trying out the Transcend brand. I'd typically go for Kingston, Lexar, or SanDisk. But for the price, I couldn't resist trying it out.
The key is longevity. I've had previous makes that died within 3 months of use and others are still with me and being used. Yeah, I know - given the price, throwing it out after (say) 6 months of use still gets me a good ROI (Return on Investment). But hey - I may little but that should mean it can't last long.
Out of the box, it formatted without issues on my Nikon D5000 DSLR. I took a couple of shots (ok, so more like 250 pics) and downloaded them unto my laptop (USB 2.0 compliant) and voila -- the files moved blazingly fast.
The key is longevity. I've had previous makes that died within 3 months of use and others are still with me and being used. Yeah, I know - given the price, throwing it out after (say) 6 months of use still gets me a good ROI (Return on Investment). But hey - I may little but that should mean it can't last long.

This is used in a Kodak Z290 digital camera which in conjunction with the other products I bought have stopped the camera from green screening. Compared to what I would have paid in a local store it was a bargain. I have not experienced any significant lag with it, even when it is being used with little time between shots. Love the capacity and the fact that my computers can read it without an adapter.

I compared the cots of this card against all others I could find and Transcend was much cheaper by 40% and it is absolutely class 10 in write speed. I compared it to other class 10 cards and there was no measurable differences using human standards anyway. I have some Transcend cards from the time that a big Compact Flash card was 512 MB and they still work as new so I had no concerns with the quality and longevity of them. I recommend Transcend for value and equal quality.

I bought this SD card since the one I had was smaller and also a lower class, and I always had trouble capturing video in High Def with my SLR camera. My camera requires at least a class 6 card to capture in HD, and this Class 10 works perfectly for videos. And the file transfer is super fast. With my system, I can transfer 1 GB from this card to my hard drive in less than a minute. Highly recommended.

It can't capture continous shots on my T2i for long.. and the HD video recording sometimes stops before I intend to...But overall, for the price (almost 1/3rd of the sandisk extreme III), it's a decent bargain card.

But I use this Class10 now, and use the Class 6 as a backup.

Pros: Writes/Reads fast; Great Value; Easy To Use; Large CapacityI purchased this 8GB class 10 device for use with a Sony DSC-H55 camera, not knowing ahead of time which class SDHC was required at a minimum for shooting movies. As it turned out, class 4 was the minimum. Thus this SDHC device had more than enough speed to do the job. At the time of purchase, it also cost less than many 8GB class 2 SDHC memories. I haven't had it long enough to say anything about reliability, but previous Transcend memory devices I've bought haven't failed yet, so I expect this to to be reliable as well.

Pros: Great Value; Reliable PerformanceI mostly use it on my SLR , I'm not a professional, but i do take lots of pics...I got this card as it was faster than my prev transcend class 4 card. Now this became my primary card, and I'm using the old one as a spare now. If you aren't a professional and are looking for a decent read/write speed, go for this. Worth the price. Rather than getting one chunk of 16 or 32GB, i prefer 8Gb's as its easier tracked for each trip and also saves u in a rainy day when 16Gb malfunctions your entire card of photos are wiped out,in this case just 1 trips pic are gone. Rest are safe on other cards.(i use 3 cards)
