    Cons: It was not compatible with a range of equalizers and other common programs, so you have little control of the sound unless you use equalizers and other balancing and control programs that are imbedded in each of your programs. This is a pain.

This is a pain. The cost of this thing is comparable to shippping. Just go for a little better card, it's worth your money. I went with diamond's xtreme line and was pleased.
