    installed easily drivers were as easy saving 25 percent cpu usage since the operating system doesn't have to do all the work. will never own a soft or winmodem…

    The cheaper USR modem would not work reliably with the Vonage Fax line. This modem, however, works flawlessly faxing. Recommended.

    Having just installed Ubuntu, this is a great modem. Works just fine for me. I don't know about faxing with it, I have not tried.
