    These cartridges are expensive and do not last long. The printer puts out decent quality print with a decent speed.

    Machine design utilizes 1 small black cartridge and three small color cartridges. Ink quality is fine, but since most use of machine is for faxes, short cartridge life makes operating cost higher than desirable. Suggest Brother sell a "double size" black cartridge

    This is a great ink; however, it tends to run out fairly quickly if you are a heavy user of the printer. It is a bit on the pricey side as well given the frequency of purchase. Excellent print quality and performance overall!

    My office is on a boat, so the Brothers printer is compact and space saving. The ink cartages are expensive and replacement is to often.
    If I would have known better I would have selected a less expensive operating printer.

    When ink cartridge is out of ink or out of the printer, the fax and scan features on the Brother printer do not work. I can understand the copy feature not working obviously, but not being able to use the other features makes things unproductive and it doesn't make sense as well. I have never had a previous printer do that before. My next printer purchase will hopefully not have this drawback.

    I use my brothers copier at least 4 times a day, so i usually go thru ink pretty quick. The replacement's are simply and clean. We looked at many different types of copiers/printers, but the cost saving on ink replacement is what sold us on the brothers brand

    No smearing, ease of cartridge removal and installation excellent. Only thing I don't care for is when one cartridge runs out you can't print at all.

    I use this product for school projects. The cartridge is easy to install; however, it doesn't last long. I have to replace the cartridge frequently and if one color runs out, it shuts down the whole printer. The printer is not too expensive, it's the cartridges that take me to the bank.

    The life span is too short for the extremely high price of the product. Brother never comes out with specials so can stock. The quality of the product by itself is great. But for heavy users the price will drive you to try and change the printer.

    I have a home based business and bought the Brother wireless printer. I had to replace the cartridge much quicker than I thought, and the printer itself was rendered useless when the ink was low. I replaced the ink, and all of my documents now are gray at best. Poor quality, high prices and low yield = not happy customer.

    my Brother LC61 series multifuntion printer/copier/fax machine is quiet, and prints quickly. I especially like the paper tray idea more so than stacking paper on the back of the machine. It is an excellent proformance machine.

    Cons: Seems to run out a bit faster than I'd expect.
    The colors are vivid and the images crisp, so I highly recommend the ink and the Brother printer in that respect. The cartridges don't seem to last quite as long as I think they should, but the "shelf life" is still pretty good overall.

    This is the correct ink for my printer. I tried a cheaper brand that said it would go with my printer; it was an awful mess and the cartridges did NOT fit my printer. I'll stick with these they are easy to use and not at all messy.

    I use the product at home where I do all kinds of documents, pictures, pay bills, etc. It is great to change the cartridges without getting ink all over the place. It is quick and simple, just take out the old and put in the new. The only thing that is not to great is the price. Wish ink could be cheaper.

    I use this product to print files. Some files are reams of paper big and other files aren't as much. The print quality is good and fast drying not to mention,non smearing. It gets the job done. The cartridge is easy to install and uninstallation is just as easy.

    Great ink cartridge for an even greater little machine. I love how the cartridges are vacuum sealed. The ink lasts a long time, however the "Ink Low" message comes on a little prematurely. Just keep on using the cartridge until you get the final "Must Replace Ink Cartridge" message, and cannot continue printing. I believe the first message appears to advise you to get another cartridge BEFORE the current one runs out of ink.

    This is my second Brother printer. My previous printer could utilize either a standard or large refill. This refill doesn't even make a standard size. I find I replace this size more often doing the same amount of printing.
