Just having the convenience of an extra tray to use for plain paper along with letterhead is worth the price. There was no installation necessary adding the tray to the Brother MFC-9840CDW. It was as simple as taking the tray out of the box and setting the printer on top of the tray.

I added this product to the MFC-9840CDW and now the people using the product can put entire reams of paper in this tray and legal size paper in the upper tray. Good idea for people using both sizes.
