Pros: Does what RAM is supposed to do. RAM isn't the most exciting thing in a computer, but when it doesn't work right you know it, and this worked right from the get-go. I put it in my 1000HE netbook and it clocked down to where it needed to be. I even "overclocked" it in the sense that I upped the speed to DDR800 (like it's rated for) with software but it kept the timings lower than the specified values (4 CAS vs 5) and still ran fine. Just had to keep tapping F2 to get it to let me in the BIOS where it then decided to recognize it all. Performance improvement will be minor on a netbook going from 1GB unless you really try to multitask or open tons of tabs in your internet browser. Otherwise you don't typically do anything intensive on a netbook. It's still nice to have though.

Pros: Put in Asus EEE 1000 HE. Started computer and system information still showed original amount of ram .99GB. Shut down and on next start pressed F2 a few times during start up to enter BIOS, Once in BIOS the Main page then showed 2048MB of memory, pressed F10 and enter.
