Description

This SATA power splitter cable features a SATA male power connector that connects to a single computer power supply SATA connector, and breaks out into two SATA power connectors. The SATA power splitter/Y-cable overcomes the limit of the number of SATA drives that can be installed in the system based on available PSU power connections, and eliminating the cost of having to upgrade the power supply to accomodate an additional SATA drive.

    Connects fine, no problem with accidental unplugging. none 6" is a bit long for typical use. Consider how much "extra length" you really need, especially for mid-tower or smaller cases. I knew this going in (possible plans to re-use in bigger case), I made a loop and zip-tied the extra.
