    Pros: cheap
works faster than my onboard gigabit ethernet
works in linux, although this isn't as much of a problem as it used to be
Cons: The card isn't cut correctly. It took way too much force to get the card to seat in the PCI slot, and came unseated when upgrading the ram a few months later.

Pros: Does what it is supposed to do. My onboard nic died for unknown reasons. I bought this, had it shipped to me in 2 days, and I installed it in 3 minutes. When I booted up windows the card was immediately recognized, and windows 7 auto-installed the drivers. Nothing else required. Plugged ethernet in, and was ready to go.
Cons: Maybe a little expensive at ~$20 after shipping. Gigabit pci LAN cards aren't exactly new technology anymore....

Works as advertised. Performance you get will depend on PCI performance of your particular motherboard. none If your motherboard has a PCI-e slot available I highly suggest you get a PCI-e network card instead of PCI network card. You will likely get faster performance from a PCI-e card.

Am I the only one who doesn't think that baseball is some sacred sport, I mean we knew people were juicing for like going on 10 years now, get over it and move on.
I guess gigabit ethernet is like juicing in the networking world, I say juice up with this, it's only $13.99. Way cheaper than HGH!

    alias eth2 r8169 media=0x10
different values for media make it run at differrent speeds . . .
