Pros: Excellent quality. I have computers that do not supply power through PS2 connections when turned off. This KVM has an input for external power which solves this problem. I like the manual switch as well as the key hotkey switching as well.
    Cons: None.

Pros: Small, come with cables, has a button switcher and can be keyboard switched also.
Cons: Switch does not seem to work with Laptops. My Gateway has a hard time showing up on the monitor and my day job consist of me setting up kvm switches so i have done this type of thing before.

Also should inclade a PS/2-to-USB adapter for PCs that only has Ps/2 for the keyboard.

Pros: Great layout, love the "all in one" cable
Cons: Keyboard port didn't work out of the box with even the most basic ps/2 keyboard.

Pros: Inexpensive unit that supports 4 devices. No external power adapter required
Cons: CTRL hot-key is a bit annoying, especially with copy/pasting quickly. Would be better if hotkey was mapped to some less-used button.
Inexpensive unit that supports 4 devices. No external power adapter required CTRL hot-key is a bit annoying, especially with copy/pasting quickly. Would be better if hotkey was mapped to some less-used button. DOES work on all Operating systems I've tried, which include Win2000, WinXP, Vista, Linux RH, Linux Suse, Ubuntu, and more. If this switch doesn't work with your OS (Linux included), there's something wrong with your computer!

Pros: Great KVM. I use both hot keys and switch button. Using with 3 different os(2000, xp, and vista).
Cons: Sometimes the mouse drops, but show me a KVM that doesn't do that, especaily in this price range.

Supports some opearting systems. It won't work with Macs and it has trouble with Linux. Almost defeats the point unless the goal is to have a switch for all Windows machines. If you want something that works with all types of hardware and all Operating systems you just have to put down more cash. Usually around 100 dollars for a good 4 port.
