Converts USB to parallel as promised BUT Windows Installation Wizard defaults to a parallel port for your device. You must manually select the USB port that your device is going to be connected to!

Used it on both a older XP and a newer Vista 64 computer. True plug and play on both. A little pricy compared to other cables.
