It seems like some or all of the ports just quit working periodically. Therefore, there is inconsistent performance. I don't understand why this would be. For…

Pros: This little guy has been working just fine for me, in multiple studios, for over a year. Mine do not run hot. Mine are not even warm to the touch. Pros: It didn't set my house on fire.Cons: Ever since I plugged this device in, WinXP is super-wonky. I've never had such a tiny device, and one that *should* be fairly benign) wreak so much havoc upon a computer.I wish I could give it a "0" rating.

This is not my first purchase from them and all of them had been satisfactory not only in price, the fast shipment and care forwarding me about the P.O. progress had been excellent.

The power adapter is nice as it ads additional functionality. If you have a lot of devices, a HUB can come in handy. This one adds 7 ports. Plenty of room for growth.

Great product that easily increases the number of available USB 2.0 ports. Small size fits in tight spaces and doesn't clutter up the desk.

Pros: 7 ports hits the sweet spot.Cons: It died on me in 2 days. I noticed that it did run kindof warm.. enough to get me thinking that it might be an issue. I had 5 ports plugged with lightwieght stuff (game controllers). I emailed support but never heard back from them.
Not squared. Makes standing it up more difficult.7 ports hits the sweet spot. It died on me in 2 days. I noticed that it did run kindof warm.. enough to get me thinking that it might be an issue. Not squared. Makes standing it up more difficult. This was the 1st TrendNet product I bought.. and will probably be the last. This item might be suitable for mobile / light-duty use. I used mine on my home PC which runs alot. I know you can get a lemon anytime but getting a lemon coupled with no response to my problem is just wrong.
