Economical Price, true plug and play, runs cool, see other thoughts. None noted. Not sure why the unit that arrived (same exact model number) is black rather than white- if the color matters to you, check with the Egg before you order. Both the unit and the power supply run barely warm to the touch in 68F ambient room temperature- I like that. Could not verify gigabit speed becasue I have some slower components in the network, but what the heck, start upgrading now as you go along- this unit is the same price as 100Mbps units. I've had this up and running for over 2 months with no problems. As usual, stellar service from the Egg....!

I have 3 desktops and wanted to increase the speed of file transfers and file reads, but a wireless router with 1Gbs. was too expensive. So I got this switch and connected it to the wireless router. I can now pretty much navigate and launch files from other desktops as if they were on my own machine. That is definitely worth the $24.99 I paid.

cheap, reasonably stable not sure about max performance. I use them in my home network (2 of them) always on 24/24. Transfer rate seems quite good, the price was really interesting.

-cheap, -does not come with space ship this is an inexpensive switch, that works just fine. I do recommend it from a 10/100 switch, I am writing to network disk almost 8 times faster than before.

TP-LINK has become my go to brand for networking devices. Their quality products at reasonable prices really has impressed me. I would recommend any TP-LINK product to anyone.
