Pros: Reliable Performance; Quiet Operation; Easy To Setup; Adequate Power
This UPC was easy to setup. Even when only putting a computer & monitor on it, the battery shows as lasting about 15 - 20 minutes. Not a long time but enough for employees to save their work and properly shutdown their computers if the power is out. I also like the auto-shutdown feature for when the power goes out when employees are not available to shut their computers down themselves.

Pros: Small and easy to set up
    Cons: Lighter would be nicer
Small and easy to set up Lighter would be nicer I have purchased several of these and they all have been working great. I have them set up on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and a Linux Ubuntu 6.06 server (apt-get the acpups package and configure it).
Brownouts and blackouts are rare here in California, but when they happen, I know our computers will be okay.

Pros: Compact. Good price. Phone line protector.
    Cons: Light weight plastic exterior.
Compact. Good price. Phone line protector. Light weight plastic exterior. Bought about 7 for clients. Works fine, shuts down grace fully after power failure. Careful not to drop the unit or the plastic will easily break.

There was a recall on these a year or so ago, but I found it to be but a minor inconvenience and APC was really good to me with the whole thing. I have had this power supply for about two years now. It has served me through a couple of brownouts and several times when I blew the house breaker :). It reliably keeps the computer running a few extra minutes to get that email sent, or paper saved, then a nice graceful shutdown. Even when I wasn?t at home and the power failed this UPS shut my computer down for me (it plugs into usb for communication). One time I was at a LAN party and someone accidentally unplugged my cord. Not a problem for me though with this puppy. I just kept playing, even managed to get a few more frags in while he plugged me back in. With my system I can run the whole computer (200Wbox+17"mon) on this UPS for ~20min. The only thing I wish it had, that I didn?t know when I bought it, is power conditioning (found in more expensive models).

We had several in our offices that were recalled and had to have
    parts replaced.
Also the RS232 port listed in specifications just isn't there.
