This Belkin surge suppressor stopped working after less than a month. There were no electrical spikes anywhere in the house. No electricity flows to any of the 6 outlets. This has never happened to me before where a surge suppressor stops working.

Nice unit, but it wasn't completely clear from the description that there is no on/off switch.

Pros: It works, there's nothing much else to say.
    Cons: None so far.
It works, there's nothing much else to say. None so far. All I know is that it passes current. I don't know its ability to suppress surges, but there is a $15,000 warranty for any damaged equipment, so I feel safe using it.

Pros: Great and simple at the price point.
Cons: Not as good as my Belkin 12 outlet surge protection. But for $5 can't complain.

Pros: There hasn't been a power outage or any lightning or anything, so this has essentially been the same as any multitap I've used so far. I'll right a review if anything funky happens. I like the fact that the switch isn't right on the top of the thing because those get hit by accident sometimes.
Cons: No LED to signal that it is on. Nothing to cry about really.

Pros: It was free. It has sockets. It works.
Cons: They could've paid ME for it. But no egg deductions for freebies.
It was free. It has sockets. It works. They could've paid ME for it. But no egg deductions for freebies. I won't use it for my PC. I've got an expensive backup/protector that I plug electronics into. Maybe this will be handy come christmas time when I set up my tree and lights.

Pros: Works great. Cheap price. Can't beat it.
Cons: Didn't come in black to match my PC.
Works great. Cheap price. Can't beat it. Didn't come in black to match my PC. No lights on it to burn out over time. There's nothing more annoying than a flickering light on a power strip.

Multiple outlets. nice length cable. Reset switch is somewhat unprotected and can be tripped accidentally. Got two of them. Ive lost components to surges/outages, and this is cheap insurance for your electronics. Cheaper than a regular strip outlet!

The power surge is great for home and travel for Laptops, Netbooks and other gadgets where you need an extra outlet.
    August 25, 2009 Zach says:
Pros: It's a simple concept. Plug the surge protector in, plug your hardware in, and you're protected from surges. There was a nasty T-storm just a couple weeks after I 'installed' this. It knocked out the power to the house while I was playing Burnout. I was worried the computer took damage but upon powering it back up it ran like it never even happened.
    Cons: None yet.

However, the refrigerator has become unreliable after that storm which kind of proves there was potential to damage the computer if I had not bought a surge protector.
