MY mobo x58 sabertooth only detected 4gb out of 8gb. I tested other ram and it worked so this did not work well. and i do have an x64 bit os.

Using in Sandy Bridge MSI H67MA-E45 with i5-2500K. Added to an existing 4GB system to make 12GB. Old memory is 4GB OCZ with 9-9-9-20 timings. This memory is 9-9-9-24. The BIOS correctly selected the slightly slower timings of this new added memory. So, in theory, the system should benchmark memory slightly slower. Sandra benchmarks remain virtually unchanged. However, strangely, the RAM part of Windows Experience Index went from 5.9 to 7.6? While I am happy to see 7.6 and I agree that the Windows experience is improved by adding more memory, this certainly isn't due to any performance improvement in the memory system.
