Pros: Easy to use; Performs its function wellCons: Mic not detachable; Can't easily switch to speakers??I am a gamer with a wife in school. ?There are times when she is not home and I want my 5.1 sound system to help me pinpoint tangos, and there are times when she is sitting five feet behind me and I want to give her the peace she needs to focus. ?I also end up eating at my computer often, and am surprised I don't have various sauces on the mic. ???This USB headset was ready to use right out of the box on my home PC running Win XP (fully updated at time of purchase, July 2010). ?The sound is clear, and the mic picks up and transmits my sound well in the games I play.???I would change two things about this headset. ?First, I would make the mic?detachable, because I don't always need it, and often need a clear path to my pie-hole. ?Second, I don't like having to get out of my chair to get behind my PC to unplug this mic when I want sound through my speakers. ?I'm still happy I bought this mic, and if you don't mind these two minor drawbacks, you will too.

Pros: i loved how adjustable it was, the mic off/on switch with volume control, and how clear it sounded.
Lasted for 7 monthsCons: The boom arm became loose pretty quickly meaning it would swing on its own (if you set it upwards to keep it out of your face, it would swing back down on its own after a week of use).
After 7 months of using it almost daily, I went away from my desk for 5 minutes, came back and the mic just died--headphones still work but the mic is completely dead.
The padded ear part hurt my ears at first, once I got used to them, I still got a headache after prolonged usage.i loved how adjustable it was, the mic off/on switch with volume control, and how clear it sounded.

I have never owned a high end set so I can't compare but if you just need this for the basics it is a great choice

Pros: After 3 months still has great sound output. I love the mic boom's full flexibility allowing me to position it EXACTLY as I see fit. It's USB so I can leave my regular 2.1 speakers plugged in and if I want to listen to music without the headset I simply unplug them and Windows redirects the sound to my speakers.Cons: After 3 months the headset is stretched out slightly making the fit on my head sometimes loose. It also has a tendency of pulling my hair if I try to adjust it while I'm wearing it.After 3 months still has great sound output. All in all the looseness of the headset is to be expected with as much use as I get out of them so I can't fault the manufacturer for that. Can't go wrong with this headset if you just need a simple way to communicate over Ventrilo or TeamSpeak.

I purchased 60 of these for a call center and handed out 40 of them. Within two weeks 8 had already broken. The wrapping around the wires are not thick enough and wires have started to become exposed. The headsets are clearly not designed for daily use.

I'd read the reviews and I got what I expected except the hum (would have been a 4 otherwise). I think I'll try another one and just use this on my laptop. I'd get it again if the price was right and I needed a backup. But not for a primary.

Pros: Comfortable after you stretch it out. I leave it clamped over my PC when not in use and that losens it up. The sound is great for voice. I've bought 6 and sent them to friends as gifts.Cons: Too tight on ears at first. Loosens up over time tho.Comfortable after you stretch it out. Too tight on ears at first. Loosens up over time tho. I'd be really impressed if one of these USB headsets had a DSP built into the USB sound device that would cancel out echo from the head phones. In other words, whatever noise the microphone hears that came from the headset speakers, it would automatically identify and cancel that noise. :)

This unit isn't overly comfortable, but it's not uncomfortable either. One note: the little labels for Mute and On on the microphone switch will fade after 2 months, so be sure you know which is which.

Not cinema quality audio. I recently implemented a 20-user softphone system (client needed soft phones instead of harware phones). I got a single one and ran a demo with it, and it's run great. They have run flawlessly over the last week, and the quality is much greater than even the old handsets.
