My computer tower is located almost 3 feet from my screen so I had to purchase an extension for the headphone jack. These speakers are great. They weren't too expensive and for the kind of listening I do at work (online streaming of meetings, voice data etc) they are perfect.)

I used my psp earphones one day cause no one wanted to hear my games and I actually heard things this speakers couldn't play. Things like weopon reloading and vehicle engines starting up.
