Garmin missed the boat in designing this carry case for the Approach G5 golf caddie! The picture will show you the unit tucked nicely inside however to put it on your bag…

Cons: Too large; Low QualityThe stitching for the belt loop and carabiner on mine came apart the first time I used it, after about 30 minutes. It's either a poor design or poor quality control. It is quite a bit too big for the Oregon but I like the basic design, I often like to hang my GPS on my backpack strap or belt where I can get to it easily.

Pros: Looks coolCons: Hinders Functionality; Difficult To UseOK so I just got this case today for my Oregon, which I've had since they released them. I love the unit, but this case...c'mon garmin, did you even give the designers an actual unit to work around or were you just leaving space to pack a clif bar in it too? If it was considerably smaller and actually fit the Oregon units, it would offer great protection, but this thing is really impractical, and weighs as much as the unit. Please Garmin redesign this case so we can protect our beloved $600 investments.
