I use this to toggle between a Roland VS2480CD 24 track recorder and my laptop, and it responds without any hang ups at all, I have an older PS/2 KVM switch. On the Roland the display, mouse and keyboard are ready to use almost instantly, toggle back to the laptop and you are ready to surf the web instantly, all with 1 monitor, 1 keyboard, and 1 mouse. Will have to own it for a year to comment on reliability, but it seems well made.
