    Pros: None.
Cons: Doesn't work. Tech support at Iogear is pretty thin. Per IOGEAR this cable will not work with Windows 7 and if it does your in luck?

    Pros: Easy To Set Up,Fast,Reliable,Small
Used to adapt an older printer to a "USB only" computer. No hitches. Certainly beats the cost, and space used, of adding a parallel port to the PC.

Pros: does what it was made to do.
Cons: for the Okidata OL-810e laser printer, which I think is an ECP port, it printed mixed garbage & page content until I was able to force-feed the drivers into the Compaq XP laptop. Also, if you try to print while the printer is off, the spooler will jam with an error. then you must turn off the printer, clear the jobs somehow (takes a while), turn the printer on, and wait for the printer to come online before you print.

I don't know how other people are having so much success doing "plug-n-play", but I am glad the company included drivers! one tech support person told me there were no drivers included, and another told me it should just work without drivers. I am not sure why it didn't for me.

Pros: Easy and fast to use. No problem with set up. Worked the first time.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Just what I needed. I was so glad to find this kind of product available so I didn't have to ditch my printer.

Pros: It did what I want it to do. My iMac G5 running 10.4 found the printer and works good
Cons: OS X is kind of funny with USB to Parallel. You might have to stop a document from printing and restart it. Apple knows about the problem it's on apples support page.
