Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System (980-000402)

I use these speakers with my computer. I use Itunes as my default music player and after setting the equalizer manually the sound was perfect. The speaker cords on the satellite speakers could be a little longer but is the perfect length for a desk set up. The speakers have a great balance of highs, mids, and low frequencies. My neighbor texted me while I was testing my speakers and said he heard bass coming from my house and our houses are not that close together. Are there better speakers our there? Sure, you could spend $350, $500 or higher for better quality speakers but for the price you can't go wrong. But don't expect a perfect speaker system for this price, it?s just not realistic.

The Z-623 2.1 THX SPEAKERS offer supurb sound quality at multiple volume levels while allowing you to really crank it up without distortion. The sub-woofer delivers resonating bass which i scontrolled to your preference by the bass control knob on the satelite speaker. I Opted to purchased the Z623 system for my second Comp. because I already own the Z2300's and liked the sound and the overall Quality. Good packageing, easy setup. Speaker wires could be just a little longer to put farther apart but
works well for me the way I've set them up.

I got these to replace my 6 year old z-2300's , the satellites sound just as good, if not better. No, the bass is not as "loud" as the z-2300's but the quality better, it has more tone range and hits more notes across the board. Better sounding horns, and mid-high range in the satellites. I like these better than the z-2300s its just a matter if you like your more into sound quality, vs loudness. The 2300's got louder but didn't sound as good at low volume or have the tone depth of the new z-623's.Over all, I like them. I would recommend them.

These speakers are incredible! I have them hooked up to my pc and my ps3 at the same time and they work perfectly. There is still even one input left to plug in something like an ipod. My computer speakers went out at work and I didnt want to spend $250+ dollars on speakers but didn't want bad sound quality either since I spend 8-12 hours at my desk a day. So I was a little apprehensive when I bought these even though the reviews seemed good. Much to my delight, when I got them they looked WAY better than what I expected and the sound was 100x better than my $400+ speakers that broke! Clear, crisp highs, acceptable low end bass makes these a great, simple setup that won't hurt your wallet.

I only rated these speakers as a 3. The sound and features are just as I expected based on all the reviews. However, the first set of speakers died after 24 hours. Thanks to B&H's generous return policy, I now have another set, and they've lasted 2 days so far. I only hope that they will never (at least for several years) die again.
