    It adds two serial ports to your sff computer. Didn't have to install any drivers in XP. It doesn't add 20 serial ports to your computer. The guy that commented that it "only comes with the extremely small metal plate to cover the back of the computer" did not read that it's a *low profile* card. That means it has a short plate to fit into small computers.
