Ensuring high quality video, the HDMI KVM switch supports HD resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200. Offering genuine digital signal transmission, this switch can share one HD panel between multiple HDMI sources such as Blu-Ray players, Video Game consoles and HD media centers.

An integrated 2-port USB 2.0 hub lets selected computers access shared high speed USB devices, eliminating duplicate peripheral costs.

Pros: HDMI. Heavy enough to not slide around the desk or get pulled backwards by the cables. Allows a person to have two computers connected to just one USB keyboard/mouse and a HDMI monitor.
Cons: Sometimes I have to cycle the selection button a couple of times to get the mouse to work.
The biggest problem is the huge number of dropped characters while typing. I have had at least five while typing the last couple of sentences in this "cons" section.
I may not be the best typist in the wrorld but this is getting a bit annoying. I will keep this unit for awhile but if it keeps dropping keystrokes I may get really upset and chuck it in the trash (well over ten errors now). This is wy I give it only three eggs.

HDMI switching, hotkey switching; no drivers required; Mac & Windows compatible Mac keyboard loses special functionality on Mac's, sometimes keystrokes get stuck in games It's a good product. Using a Mac keyboard to connect to a Macbook pro and a Win 7 machine. Switching takes about 3 seconds and works pretty well. Had mouse ports die on part one and a complete power off, unplug, and restart of the device fixed it. Would have given 5 eggs but (a) the custom keyboard buttons on the Mac keyboard no longer register on the mac and (b) sometimes when playing Starcraft 2 on my windows machine with a RAT mouse the system stops registering all the key presses and I have to switch to the other computer and then switch back. It's probably due to the fact that I'm spamming the keyboard faster than the switch can respond. For other uses the device works without an issue
