Pros: Works fine as a 4 port USB hub for most situations, so 3 stars for that.
Cons: Power supply is limited to 1.2A. USB standard specifies up to 500mA per port, which it can't deliver on all 4 ports simultaneously.
Further, many USB accessories today require more than 500mA, e.g. USB 2.5" disks, or external CD/DVD drives. Most laptops today allow for up to 1A per port. This thing _cannot_ drive an external DVD drive.

This thing _cannot_ drive an external DVD drive. My DVD drive came with 2 USB plugs, one for data and an extra for power. I solved my problem by using an USB brick charger that gave out 1A on one of the ports.
