This power cord was way better than the original it replaced for failure. Longer and larger in diameter it should last a lifetime at a minimal cost.

There are two sizes of those plugs, this is the one that fits about 95% of laptop power supplies, but this may or may not fit things like thin clients or macs that look like they have the same plug.
