The SAT2IDEADP SATA to IDE hard drive adapter allows for 2.5in/3.5in IDE-based (PATA) hard drives (HDD) to be used in most StarTech.com SATA-based HDD docking stations and drive duplicators. The unique mounting style of the SATA/IDE adapter enables it to be easily mounted to an IDE/ATA HDD and inserted into a SATA HDD dock, for quick and easy retrieval of data from older HDDs while its all- metal construction ensures maximum durability. This adapter works with most StarTech.com SATA HDD Docking Stations and Duplicators, including: SATADOCK22UE SATDOCK2UEGB SATDOCK22RE SATDOCK22R SATDOCKU3S SATADOCKU2 SATADOCKU2E SATDOCK4U2E SATDOCK4U3E SATDOCKCRH SATDOCKU2EGB SATDOCKU2GB Fully compatible with both 2.5in and 3.5in form factor HDDs and up to ATA-133 (133 MBps), this versatile HDD adapter can also be used to install IDE HDDs into SATA-only desktop computers.
