Pros: Compact, universal, and fairly easy to install, and if you have white or cream color walls it blends in nicely, what more could you ask for?
Cons: Mixed hardware configuration is a bit annoying; some parts require you to use a phillips and an allen key at the same time, or two different sized allen keys on a part that requires you to have a grip on both parts, basically just make sure you have your own set of tools on hand.

No complaints...supporting a 13lb projector. The only challenge you may have is centering the mount over the point of equilibrium on the projector. Additionally, small adjustments are a bit challenging, but nothing a little time and effort won t fix.

Pros: Reasonably cheap, easy on/off capability lets you take out one screw and a metal tab and the projector is off.
Cons: Because of the easy on/off capablility that is held up by only one bolt it is impossible to lock it down tight enough so that it doesn't cause vibration. We are using a projector with three mount points and a pretty large internal fan. When the fan kicks into high gear it causes a slight vibration on the screen.

Do not use this in a drop-down (fake) ceiling with ceiling tiles. This mount is designed to screw into a solid ceiling (not drywall or ceiling tiles).

Pros: Works well with a BenQ... Took 10mins to realize they used little rubber buttons in the mount holes for the screws. Nice shallow mount to boot. If your project fan blows downward (that's up when upside down) think twice.
Cons: Non height adjustable - but it's 5" from the ceiling to the projector. In a home theater this is IDEAL.

If your project fan blows downward (that's up when upside down) think twice. Non height adjustable - but it's 5" from the ceiling to the projector. In a home theater this is IDEAL. It's white so it blends with most ceiling paint. It's shallow which makes it perfect for home theater installations (less head shadows in the screen).
