My AV system had outgrown its surge suppressor, so I bought this UPS system. It is well-laid out, making it easy to plug in most anything. It has ample outlets - 12. Half are on the UPS. I loose power for just a minute, all too frequently. That is all it takes to loose two weeks of program info from my cable DVRs. When lost, it takes three days to reload. That problem is gone, and I've gotten rid of the rat's nest of splitters that were on my old surge suppressor. I won't know how long it will hold power, until we have a major outage, but those are rare. It is heavy, so it seems to have a massive battery, given its fairly compact size. I'm almost looking forward to our next brief outage!

Pros: One of the few UPS designs that provides plenty of space between outlets to connect power blocks (AC adapters). Can be wall mounted.
Cons: I owned two of these and they both died after a few years.

Decent plug layout and cord length. Good for the average bear... Not a standard USB type cable. This makes for a great small business or home UPS. Let's face it, most of us use a UPS for surge protection and to prevent power loss during brief flickers. Do yourself a favor and don't install any UPS included software as the majority don't adapt well to OS updates.

CHeaper than competition, same performance. GUI for this product is a little more basic than other brands, but still has same functionality. This is a great unit. I deal with APC at office but these Tripp Lites work the same.
