The electrician screwed up and wired a 110v outlet with 260v. I connected the computer and LCD monitor to the Tripp-lite. Then I plugged the Tripp-lite into the wall outlet. There was a spark from the Tripp-lite, but the computer worked normally and was unharmed! Great product at an excellent price.
